Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Tenders

Per Chicken Tender - 94 calories, 18g protein, 1g fat, 4g carbs Chick Fil A – Chick-n-Strips – 110 calories, 9g protein, 5g fat, 6g carbs

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup chicken tenderloins
1 cup Greek yogurt
¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
¼ cup hot sauce
Bread and butter pickles
Nashville Spice Mix
2 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Hot Honey Sauce
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Hot sauce, to taste
Salt, to taste
Steps
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl add all ingredients in the Nashville spice mix and stir to combine.
In a large bowl prepare the chicken marinade. Add the chicken tenderloins, Greek yogurt, hot sauce, half of the seasoning mix, and mix to coat. Allow to marinade for 30 minutes to overnight.
Add the panko and remaining spice mixture to a serving plate. Coat each chicken tender completely in the panko mixture and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 30 minutes flipping half way. To air fry, set the temperature to 400 degrees F and cook for 10 minutes, flipping half way.
While the chicken is cooking, add all ingredients for the hot honey sauce to a small bowl and mix to combine.
Remove the chicken from the oven or air fryer, drizzle with the hot honey sauce, top with bread and butter pickles, and enjoy!
